Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

One of the maladies of medical care in the remote areas, and especially in developing countries, is lack of Emergency Medical Services, such as ambulance and emergency response services. For this purpose, Fastmed plan to establish Emergency Medical Services as a pre-hospital medical care unit in all places where Rural Medical Mission is established and in the cities.
a.     To provide Ambulances equipped with modern emergency medical equipment for victims of accidents and disasters.
b.     To provide emergency treatment for those who are in need of urgent medical attention, and arrange their timely removal to medical facilities such as hospital, clinics and medical centers where they will be treated and cared for.
c.     To provide Emergency Response Team that will carry out on-the-spot treatment to patients and victims of accidents and disasters, and to arrange their rapid transfer to hospitals or medical centers for further treatment.
d.     To provide non-emergency transportation (vehicles) for easy and effective commuting of the sickly, elderly, children, and disabled, back and forth, to the hospitals, clinics and doctors' offices wherever the need may be and whenever the need arises.

  • These non-emergency vehicles are not ambulances, but are to serve as both short and long distance means of transportation for patients who don't have means of transportation, or those with physical disability and the feeble and to medical appointments.
  • Our non-emergency vehicles will be equipped with wheel chairs and other accessories for safety and comfort of the riders.
Our Emergency Medical Unit will be staffed with trained, capable and experienced emergency relief personnel, who will be available 24/7 to respond promptly at the scenes of accidents and disasters, in a bid to give First Aid and Treatments to patients and victims before and/or while transporting them to a health care facility.
